Bright Rooms
Actually, bright rooms are an asset, says our designer. They are much more cheerful especially for the children in the family, if there are any. But of course this is all a matter of individual taste. If you feel that you’d like a more subdued atmosphere you can play around with darker shades of green, for instances, but start off with basic colors, like sand or beige for the floor and walls. You wouldn’t have any difficulty matching other color schemes with it later on. Our designer suggests easy cleaning ceramic floor tiles of 22 x 26 cm size for the living room. Space conscious HDB dwellers should opt for compact wall units and there are many designers for such flats on the market. (more…)
